Thank you for visiting Babycakes Cake Decorating! At the age of 8, I began to bake cakes in the kitchen with my family. In time, this became a passion for me, and baking and cake decorating became my beloved hobby. With continued encouragement from my family, and especially my husband who affectionally calls me Babycakes, I decided to receive further education in sugar artistry. I have received certifications in the Wilton Method of Cake Decorating, and from the International School of Confectionary Arts under the instruction of Nicholas Lodge. I consistently strive to improve my skills in baking, cake decorating and sugar artistry by obtaining additional instruction through available classes, books, and DVDs.
